Why does Skavora exist?
Skavora exists because the recommendation layer is replacing the results page, and almost nobody measures it. When a buyer asks an AI assistant "who should I use for this?", the answer is a short list of named brands: your brand is either on it or it isn't, and until you check, you have no way of knowing which.
According to a G2 2025 survey of more than 1,000 B2B software buyers, half now start their buying journey in an AI chatbot instead of Google Search. Businesses have two decades of tooling for measuring where they rank in Google, and close to nothing for measuring whether AI recommends them. Skavora is the measurement step: a live scan that asks the questions your buyers actually ask, and reports honestly on what came back.
What does Skavora believe about measurement?
Skavora is built on a small set of measurement convictions, and each one is enforced in the product, not just claimed in the copy.
- We would rather show no number than a made-up one. If a scan degrades (rate limits, failed scoring), the report says exactly what was and wasn't measured, and no score is shown. Numbers are never padded or fabricated.
- The questions must be neutral by construction. Scan prompts never name a platform and never name any brand other than your own. The engine answering is never told which brand is being measured, so it cannot flatter the result.
- Real buyer questions, not keyword strings. Skavora researches your brand live first, then generates 25 conversational, multi-constraint questions from that research, the kind real people actually ask an assistant.
- Non-branded coverage is the real signal. Around 80% of questions never mention your brand, because the questions that win new customers are the ones where the buyer doesn't yet know who to ask for. Appearing only when buyers already name you is not visibility, and the report says so.
- Live answers, not snapshots. Every question runs live through AI with web grounding, the same answers a buyer would get.
The full methodology is public: see how a Skavora scan works.
Who builds Skavora?
Skavora is founder-built in the UK, and everything published here goes out under the Skavora name rather than a personal byline. One product, kept deliberately simple: no signup for the free check, and no access to your accounts. There is no origin myth to tell: Skavora exists to answer one question (does AI recommend your brand?) and to report the answer honestly, even when the honest answer is that you don't appear at all.
How do I contact Skavora?
Email hello@skavora.io. Questions about a scan result, the methodology, or anything the report got wrong are all welcome. Being told where a scan misread something is how the product improves.
Frequently asked questions
Is Skavora really free?
Yes. Skavora's free check runs 25 live buyer questions through Gemini with web grounding and returns the full scored report, no signup. A one-time £9.99 report runs the same questions across Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode.
Does Skavora guarantee my brand will appear in AI answers?
No, and no honest tool can. Skavora measures whether AI assistants recommend your brand and shows which sources they trust in your category, so you can direct your effort. It does not control AI outputs.
Which AI engines does Skavora check?
Skavora checks Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode. The free check runs on Gemini; the £9.99 report covers all five engines with a cross-engine benchmark.
