AI is the new landscape.
We give brands perspective on it.
Every day, millions of buying decisions begin with AI. Some brands are recommended. Others are invisible. Skavora shows you where you stand today, and gives you a clear route to higher ground tomorrow.
Built for clarity, not complexity
Skavora is a free AI visibility checker: it runs 25 realistic buyer questions live through AI assistants and shows whether they recommend your brand, and who they recommend instead. The free check runs on Google's Gemini with live web grounding, meaning the engine searches the current web before it answers, rather than relying on its training data; the £9.99 report extends the same questions across Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode. Every answer a scan reads is the same answer a real buyer would get.

How do I check my brand's AI visibility?
Checking your AI visibility takes three steps: tell Skavora who you are, let it run a live scan, and read your scored report. The whole thing takes a few minutes and costs nothing.
- Enter your brand. Name, website, category and country, plus up to three competitors if you want them benchmarked alongside you.
- Skavora researches, then scans live. It first researches your brand and how your buyers decide, then generates 25 conversational buyer questions from that research (never keyword strings) and runs every one through Gemini with live web grounding. Around 80% of the questions never mention your name, because the questions that win new customers are the ones where the buyer doesn't yet know who to ask for.
- Read your scored report. A 0–100 Visibility Score, your Share of AI Voice against the brands AI actually named, and the full breakdown of which sources shaped every answer.
More detail on the methodology, including why the answering engine is never told which brand is being measured, is on the how the scan works page.
What's in your free report?
Your free report is the full scored analysis, not a teaser. Every item below is included at no cost, with no account:
- A 0–100 Visibility Score, weighted toward non-branded coverage, so a high score means buyers find you when they don't already know your name, not just when they search for it.
- Your branded vs non-branded coverage split, so you can see the difference between AI recognising you and AI recommending you. Appearing only when buyers name you is not visibility, and the report says so.
- A competitor leaderboard with Share of AI Voice (built from every brand AI actually named in its answers, not just the ones you listed), so you see who is really winning your category's recommendations.
- Your average position when named, plus sentiment, so you know whether you're the first name mentioned or a grudging afterthought.
- Prompt-by-prompt answers, the full text of what AI said to each question, so you read exactly what your buyers read.
- The cited-source breakdown, ranked by influence: every site AI leaned on, classified (review sites, retailers, Reddit, YouTube, editorial and more), so you know precisely which sites to earn coverage on next. It's an outreach target list, not just a chart.
Why does AI visibility matter now?
AI assistants have become the front door to buying decisions. According to the G2 2025 Buyer Behavior Report, generative AI chatbots are now the number-one influence on B2B supplier shortlists (ahead of review sites, supplier websites and salespeople), and a 2025 G2 survey of over 1,000 B2B software buyers found half now start their buying journey in an AI chatbot instead of Google Search.
The old signals won't tell you how you're doing there. SparkToro found that in 2026, 68% of Google searches ended without a click, and an Ahrefs study of 15,000 prompts found only 12% of the URLs cited by ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot appear in Google's top 10 for the same query. Ranking well in Google and being recommended by AI are different games, measured differently.
Which leaves one uncomfortable question: when a buyer in your category asks an AI assistant for a shortlist, are you on it? Most brands genuinely don't know. A scan replaces that guess with a measurement.
What makes Skavora's check honest?
Skavora is built so the number you get is one you can trust, even when it's a number you won't like.
- Live, grounded answers, not training-data snapshots. Every question runs live through AI with web search grounding. You see real current answers.
- Neutral by construction. The questions never name a platform and never name any brand other than your own. The engine answering is never told which brand is being measured, so it can't flatter you.
- Research-derived buyer questions. Conversational, multi-constraint questions generated from live research into how your buyers actually decide, the way people really talk to assistants, never keyword strings.
- Honest degradation. If a scan is rate-limited or partly fails, the report says exactly what was and wasn't measured. No score is shown on a degraded scan, and no number is ever padded or fabricated.
- Genuinely free. No signup, no access to your accounts. The scan sees the same answers a buyer would get.
Why weight the score toward questions that never mention you? Because that's where new customers are won: the full argument is in why non-branded questions matter more.
What does the £9.99 report add?
The free check answers: does AI recommend you today, on one engine? The £9.99 report answers: how does that hold up across Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode, and where does each engine get its answers?
One-time payment per report, no subscription. It adds:
- A cross-engine benchmark: your visibility on all five engines, side by side.
- A prompt × engine heatmap: see at a glance which questions you win everywhere and which you lose everywhere.
- Per-engine source ecosystems, with measured overlap: each engine trusts different sites; the report shows which, and where they agree.
- Cross-engine opportunities: the gaps where one engine recommends you and the others don't yet.
- Custom question sets: edit the generated questions or write your own (up to 25) and re-run the scan against the exact questions your buyers ask.
- Follow-up Q&A on your own report: ask questions about your results and get answers grounded in your data.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a free AI visibility checker?
Yes, Skavora is a free AI visibility checker with no signup required. It runs 25 realistic buyer questions live through Google's Gemini with web grounding and returns a full scored report: a 0–100 Visibility Score, your branded/non-branded coverage split, a competitor leaderboard with Share of AI Voice, sentiment, every prompt's full answer, and the cited-source breakdown. The free report is the complete analysis for one engine, not a preview.
How do I check if ChatGPT recommends my brand?
Ask ChatGPT the questions your buyers ask, without naming your brand, and see whether it names you. Doing that rigorously means many varied, realistic questions, because answers change between runs: SparkToro research found less than a 1-in-100 chance ChatGPT gives the same list of brands twice for the same query. Skavora's £9.99 report automates this: the same 25 buyer questions run live across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode, with a cross-engine benchmark. Our guide to how to measure your AI visibility step by step covers the manual approach too.
What is AI visibility?
AI visibility is how often, and how favourably, AI assistants like Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode mention or recommend your brand when people ask them for recommendations. It matters most on non-branded questions, the ones where the buyer describes a need without naming anyone, because that's where shortlists are formed. Our explainer on what AI visibility is goes deeper.
Which AI engines does Skavora check?
Skavora checks Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode. The free check runs on Gemini with live web grounding; the £9.99 report runs the same question set across all five engines and compares them. Every scan uses live, grounded answers, real responses at the moment you scan.
Is Skavora really free?
In short, yes. Skavora's free check requires no signup, no account and no payment details, and never asks for access to your accounts. The report it returns is the full scored analysis for one engine (score, coverage split, competitor leaderboard, sentiment, full answers and cited sources), not a preview. The £9.99 cross-engine report is a one-time payment per report, not a subscription.
What does the £9.99 report add?
Skavora's £9.99 report adds four more engines and a cross-engine view. The free check answers one question: does AI recommend you today, on Gemini? The £9.99 report runs the same 25 buyer questions across Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode, then adds a cross-engine benchmark, a prompt-by-engine heatmap, per-engine source ecosystems with their measured overlap, the exact pages each paid engine cited (the free Gemini report shows domains only, an API limitation), custom question sets you can edit or write yourself, follow-up Q&A on your own results, and a downloadable PDF. It is a one-time payment per report, not a subscription.
What's the difference between a mention and a recommendation?
A mention is AI naming your brand anywhere in an answer; a recommendation is AI putting you on the shortlist when a buyer asks what to choose. Skavora measures both, and weights its Visibility Score toward non-branded coverage, being recommended to buyers who didn't ask for you by name, because appearing only in branded questions is not real visibility.
Why do non-branded questions matter more than branded ones?
Non-branded questions, the ones where a buyer describes a need without naming any brand, matter more because that is where shortlists are formed and new customers are won. Around 80% of the questions in a Skavora scan are non-branded, and the Visibility Score is weighted toward them, because appearing only when buyers already type your name says nothing about whether AI introduces you to buyers who don't yet know you exist.
Does Skavora guarantee my brand will appear in AI answers?
No, and no honest tool can. AI answers are probabilistic and change between runs, so nobody controls whether an engine names you. What Skavora does is measure where you stand today and direct your effort: the cited-source breakdown shows exactly which sites AI trusts in your category, so you can earn coverage there and re-scan to track the change.
